  Jo-Ann Fabrics is an awesome place for everything crafty. My wife and I went in for a few bits of fabric for some projects and walked out with WAY more than we had on our list. They sell SO much stuff there. Besides carrying a huge array of fabrics, including satins, sheers, curtain material, furniture upholstery material, batting, etc., they also carry a huge assortment of other stuff. The had a whole aisle dedicated to buttons. That includes regular buttons, as well as all kinds of specialized buttons shaped like whatever you can imagine. They carry a huge assortment of ribbons, zippers, clothing patterns, and just anything else you can imagine. On top of everything else, their customer service was outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If they didn't walk us to whatever we were asking for, they gave us directions. The lady at the fabric-cutting counter even pointed out some discount fabric when we mentioned that we were just trying some things out. It was awesome. If you're looking for a huge craft store with great service and plenty of accessories, this is the place.
